The jewellery designer Hanus Lamr presents the best of his work, a collection of brooches (a part of which was also the brooch designed for Madeleine Albright) as well as some most recent pieces. Complementing the exhibition, Ivana Matejkova, a renowned Czech photographer, holder of the prestigious title Qualified European Photographer, will be exhibiting her photographs connected with Hanus's work.
Hanus Lamr finds his inspiration in nature motifs, which he uses in his own original way and creates unique pieces of art full of a natural lightness, elaborated simply and with an ethereal tenderness.
The photos by Ivana Matejkova work with the motive of Hanus Lamr's jewellery but they are not typical ‘product’ photographs. She uses fully the options afforded by digital photography and shows Hanus's work in her own way - often in many layers and from different angles.
